Morocco celebrates birthday of Princess Lalla Asmaa
Princess Lalla Asmaa The Royal Family and the Moroccan people celebrate on Wednesday, in joy and pride, the birthday of Princess Lalla Asmaa, sister of HM King Mohammed VI.

Princess Lalla Asmaa, the honorary president of the Lalla Asmaa Foundation for Deaf and Mute Children, always attends the social activities organized by the foundation to provide support for the unfortunate children and ease their sufferings.

In addition to social activities, the foundation also provides the children with vocational training in the fields of computer science, plastic and cartographic arts, embroidery and esthetics, to secure their socio-professional integration.

The princess also laid the foundation stone to build the Princess Lalla Asmaa centre for daf children and youths in Rabat, which will provide deaf and mute children with primary and secondary education and contribute to their social and vocational integration.

Moreover, the princess annually presides over the inauguration ceremony of the Diplomatic Circle Charity Bazaar; a charity event organized in Rabat by the spouses of diplomats in Morocco.

Princess Lalla Asmaa's social commitment is consistent with that of the rest of the royal family members, following the path once taken by their late father King Hassan II.
