Handicraft

Being one of the first countries in the world to have a varied lithic industry, Morocco, thanks to its ancient traditions, the diversity of its population and culture, succeeded in preserving this wealth and concretizing it in carpets, traditional suits, jewels, pottery, ceramics, engraved wood, chiselled zellij, carved plaster...

The handicraft sector occupies a distinguished position in the Moroccan economy (8% of the GDP) and employs a substantial number of Moroccans.
