The council stressed, following its 134th session held in Cairo at the level of Foreign Ministers, operations supervised by the Agency concerning the revamping of historical monuments in the holy city and near the Al Aqsa Mosque.
The council highlighted the funding of this body to implement projects related to housing, health care, culture, social affairs, youth and sports, as well as the restoration of mosques and historical monuments in the holy city.
It called on Arab and Islamic countries and organizations, as well as civil society and financing funds, to strive to carry out development projects mainly in the fields of education, housing and youth and reinforce its Arab presence in the holy city.
The Bayt Mal Al Quds Asharif Agency seeks to mobilize the material and financial resources necessary to defend the inalienable rights of the Palestinians to the city of Al-Quds Asharif as capital of the Palestinian State and safeguard its Arabic and Islamic character and its civilizational, religious, cultural and architectural heritage.
