At the end of a meeting between the two parties at the UN headquarters, Fassi Fihri said that the UN Secretary-General "expressed his support and admiration for the process of reforms undertaken by Morocco several years ago."
He also stressed the "importance and boldness of the new constitution, adopted recently by the overwhelming majority of Moroccans," the Minister added.
Ban Ki-moon highlighted Morocco's "extremely positive" role in the ongoing changes in the region, notably in Libya.
