Al-Quds inhabitants highly appreciate HM the King's bold stances towards them, Bayt Mal Al Quds Head

The inhabitants of Al-Quds highly appreciate HM King Mohammed VI's bold stances towards them, Director-General of Bayt Mal Al Quds Asharif Agency Abdelkébir Alaoui Mdaghri said on Thursday at the royal palace of Fez.

Mdaghri, who presented before HM the King the Agency's projects in 2009 and 2010, conveyed to the monarch the gratitude of the holy city inhabitants for HM the King's brave stances, as well as to the Moroccan people and all Islamic countries which contribute to the financing of projects carried out by this institution.

Moroccans take pride in the unanimity of Arab Heads of States who have commended the moral and material support of HM the King to Al-Quds and the Palestinian cause, he said.

The monarch's solicitude for Bayt Mal Al Quds Asharif Agency is shown through HM the King's direct personal interest in the body's activities, the granting of the necessary funding and social actions.

Mdaghri said that his five successive visits to the holy city testify to the Agency's eagerness to be part of this royal approach, and are aimed at enquiring about the needs of the inhabitants, following up the projects' implementation and communicating with the Palestinian civil society.
He added that the Agency relies on a network of Palestinian women's associations in Al-Quds Asharif and is fully cooperating with Al-Quds endowment administration.

Mdaghri hailed, on this occasion, the support of Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas for the initiatives undertaken by the sovereign for the benefit of Al-Quds and its inhabitants.
