The Crown Prince was given details on this exhibition which comprises 650 exhibits, wall signs and interactive multimedia publications which mirror the history and the daily life of the Saharan Morocco's inhabitants.
Following this visit, the Crown prince was handed presents.
This exhibition is held jointly by the Agency for the southern provinces' promotion and economic and social development and the Groupe Crédit Agricole du Maroc.
It will enable the public to discover the Sahara's heritage through the aspects of nomadic way of life, archaeological and ethnographic items, coins and manuscripts.
In a statement to the press, the exhibition's delegate Mounia Nejjar said that the event, which opened on November 4 as part of the festivities marking the 35th anniversary of the Green March, will run until the end of June.
