In a meeting, the two officials welcomed the distinguished relations between Morocco and Estonia and the convergence of views on several regional and international issues, a statement of the Prime Minister’s office said.
On this occasion, El Fassi highlighted the reforms undertaken by Morocco under the leadership of HM the king at the political, economic and social fields, particularly the efforts made to consolidate democracy, strengthen transparency, and promote human rights and civil liberties.
The Premier also mentioned the latest developments of the Sahara issue, reaffirming the international community’s support for the Moroccan autonomy initiative in the southern provinces under the sovereignty of Morocco.
Andrus Ansip welcomed the positive results achieved by the Moroccan economy and the major structural projects launched by the Kingdom. He also expressed his country’s willingness to strengthen bilateral cooperation in several sectors, particularly tourism, energy and new technologies
