"Everything that has been undertaken in Morocco is extremely positive," he said in reference to the reforms and development projects underway in the Kingdom.
He also praised the "excellent" relations between France and Morocco in all areas.
The architect of the Union for the Mediterranean (UPM), launched by President Nicolas Sarkozy in 2008, paid tribute to the "leading role" of Morocco, one of the "most dynamic countries of the Mediterranean” which contributed to the establishment of this project.
“Morocco has strongly supported the Union for the Mediterranean since the beginning and still does," Guaino said.
