Government Council adopts appropriation bill draft for 2011
Communication Minister and Government Spokesperson Khalid Naciri  The Government Council adopted, on Wednesday, the appropriation bill draft for 2011, during its weekly meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Abbas El Fassi.

The appropriation bill draft for 2011 is marked by voluntarism, boldness and realism in conformity with the Government approach, Communication Minister and Government Spokesperson Khalid Naciri told the press quoting Economy and Finance Minister as saying.

The government endeavors to rationalize functioning expenditures through ensuring a 10% reduction in order to generate the required resources to fund public investments and social sectors, two fields that fall within the priorities of the present appropriation bill which aims before all else to maintain fundamental balances, notably economic and social ones, Naciri explained.

The Minister recalled that during the council meetings, held on Tuesday and Wednesday, the appropriation bill for 2011 was examined along with the efforts devoted over 2008-2010 and the choices taken in a conjecture marked by the international economic slowdown.
