  Grenada supports Morocco's efforts to settle Sahara issue, Grenadian FM
Morocco's Foreign Minister Taieb Fassi Fihri and Grenada's Foreign Minister Peter David  Grenada's Foreign Minister Peter David reiterated, on Friday in Rabat, his country's support for Morocco's efforts to settle the Sahara issue.
 

     Grenada backs the United Nations' efforts to find a political, negotiated and lasting solution to the Sahara issue, the Grenadian official told the press following a meeting with Morocco's Foreign Minister Taieb Fassi Fihri.

    During the meeting, the two ministers discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations and other issues of common interest .

    The Republic of Grenada and three other Caribbean states (Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Kitts and Nevis and Saint Lucia) had decided to withdraw recognition of the so-called SADR.
