On this occasion, HM the King visited different facilities of the terminal which will increase the airport's annual passenger capacity from the current 100,000 to 300,000.

    Spread over an area of 4,000 square meters, the terminal will use state-of-the-art technology that meets international safety, security and quality standards.

    The terminal, which aims to reinforce Al Hoceima's airport infrastructure, includes a public hall, departure lounge, VIP hall, arrival hall, a luggage delivery facility, cafés, duty free shops, cash dispensers, currency exchange office and a car rent agency.
