  HM the King appoints Abdelouafi Laftit CEO of a company to develop Tangier City harbour area
HM King Mohammed VI received, on Monday in Tangier, Abdelouafi Laftit whom the Monarch appointed CEO of a company tasked with redeveloping the Tangier City harbour area.
 

     The new company is to run a major project that will help redevelop the Tangier city port area following the upcoming transfer of the vast majority of maritime activities to the new port Tanger-Med.
    The capital of the company will be held by the State, the Hassan II Fund, the city of Tangier, the National Ports Agency and the Promotion and Development Agency of the Northern provinces.
    The project is meant to attract significant investment and generate substantial job opportunities, especially in the fields of infrastructure, housing, hotel business, tourism, trade, services and leisure.
