    Dr Bachir Saoud was born in 1952 in the northern city of Tetouan.  He is currently the coordinator of the Millennium Challenge Account agricultural projects.
    He holds since June 1993 the position of chairman of the board of directors of the company for Agricultural lands management "SOGETA".  He was also director of the National company for cattle breeding development (SNDE) from October 1990 to June 1993; and before that he was regional director of SOGETA.
    Dr Bachir Saoud is married and father of two children.
