A total of 254 socio-economic projects have been carried out in the nine rural communes targeted by the initiative, benefiting some 59,000 people. The initiative contributed 62% of investments to these projects.
The projects touch notably on fighting precariousness, marginalisation and poverty in rural areas. They aim at promoting income-generating activities, improving access to basic services, socio-cultural and sports activities and consolidating good governance in local management.
The king also followed a presentation of the INDH projects under way in the province. The 76 projects require 36.013 million dirhams, around half of which contributed by the INDH.
They are due to benefit 17,724 people and are intended to fight precariousness and marginalisation and combat poverty in rural areas.
As part of the INDH, the monarch handed two ambulances to the communes of Abbou Lakhal and Bouchaouene, as well as an equipped tractor to the El Haloumia agricultural cooperative.
