  HM the King enquires about urban upgrading programmes in eastern Morocco
HM King Mohammed VI enquired, on Saturday in the eastern city of Erfoud, about urban upgrading programmes benefiting the communes of Errachidia, Erfoud and Molay Ali Chrif, worth 195 million dirhams ($25.4mln).
 

   The Monarch was provided with details on the programmes, which will benefit over 120,000 inhabitants.

   The programmes are geared towards reinforcing road networks, public lighting, urban planning and green spaces.

   They also target the rehabilitation of economic and social services, such as bus stations, a handicraft complex industry and a slaughterhouse and aim to upgrade the cultural and sports infrastructures.
