HM the King extends deadline for Advisory Committee on Regionalization to submit its report
HM King Mohammed VI decided to extend to the end of 2010 the deadline set for the Advisory Committee on Regionalization to submit its report, a statement of the King's Office said on Thursday.

Following a seven-week work of the Advisory Committee on Regionalization, its chairman Omar Azziman submitted to HM the King a progress report on its mission, the statement said.
In this report, Azziman made a request to the sovereign, on his behalf and of the Committee's members, asking for the extension of the deadline set for the submission of its final report, the statement added.
This request was made due to the diversity of subjects, the interconnectedness of themes and the importance of issues at stake, underlined the source, affirming that the royal solicitude will enable the Committee to carry out an in-depth work, plan its action with serenity, and live up to the mission and the road map laid down by the monarch.
The approval of HM King Mohammed VI shows the special interest the sovereign gives to this important project, which is a turning point in Morocco's territorial governance and regional development, it said.
Reaffirming his trust in the Committee's Chairman and members, HM the King wished them success to set up a Moroccan model for advanced regionalization, the statement concluded.
