HM the King inaugurates children's house in Casablanca's university hospital

HM King Mohammed VI inaugurated, on Tuesday in the Ibn Rochd university hospital in Casablanca, a children's house, built by Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity for a total cost of 3.5 million dirhams ($ 400,800).

The new facility is meant to provide socio-educational support and training to the children receiving long-term treatment in the hospital.

Spanning over an area of 800 square meters, the facility offers a friendly space aiming to promote children's physical and mental well-being during their stay at the hospital.

The children's house will provide hospitalised children with the opportunity to maintain ties with the outside world, including access to school inside the hospital.

The new facility houses halls for teaching, projection, plastic arts, music in addition to an exhibition hall, a kitchenette, a playing area and an administration.
