  HM the King inaugurates construction vocational training center in Casablanca
HM King Mohammed VI HM King Mohammed VI inaugurated, on Monday in Casablanca, a construction vocational training center, built by Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, and laid the foundation stones of youth's employment preparation and women's training and qualification centers.
 

  The construction vocational training center, worth 18 million dirhams ($ 2mln), aims to meet the needs of Casablanca’s youths in terms of vocational training. It will help them find jobs in the field of construction and public works.

Built over an area of 5,590 square meters, the new facility includes electricity, construction, aluminum joinery and renewable energies training halls, in addition to a civil engineering laboratory and rooms for buildings’ drawing and computer skills.

The center, with a total capacity of 775 seats, also includes a didactic resources unit and spaces for practical masonry works.

 The youth's employment preparation center, stretching over an area of 1,580 square meters, is meant to promote youth’s social and economic integration notably through providing training in fields including computer science, maintenance, languages and music.

An amphitheatre, an exhibition room, a library, a refreshment area and an administrative office will be housed by the center, worth 5 million dirhams.

The women's training and qualification center, to be built for a total cost of 5 million dirhams, aims to improve women’s socioeconomic conditions through providing literacy courses and training in the field of revenue generating activities.

Spanning over an area of 1,000 square meters, the center will notably offer training in culinary arts, traditional couture, computer skills and beautician jobs.
