HM the King inaugurates dental treatment centre in Casablanca .

Casablanca   -  HM King Mohammed VI inaugurated, on Wednesday in Casablanca, a centre for dental care and treatment (first phase), set up within the Ibn Rochd university hospital of Casablanca, with investments amounting to 24.5 million dirhams.
 
21 December 2011- The centre will provide high quality treatment in surgical dentistry


    The centre is intended to reinforce the hospital offer in Casablanca, improve the quality of services and make health care available to the citizens.

    It will provide dental care and treatment for children and adults, as well as for people with serious diseases like cardiopathy, haemophilia and cancer.

     Built on 1,730 square metres, the centre will also provide activities on prevention and raising awareness of the dangers of smoking, self-medication and oral health. 
 
HM the King inaugurates child psychiatry unit in Casablanca .

Casablanca   -  HM King Mohammed VI inaugurated, on Wednesday in Casablanca, a child psychiatry unit, set up within the Ibn Rochd university hospital of Casablanca, with investments amounting to nine million dirhams.

- A reference tool for the prevention and treatment of children’s psychological and psychiatric disorders

     The new facility is the first across the Kingdom, meant to constitute a reference tool in preventing and treating psychological and psychiatric disorders  among children and adolescents under 16.

    It will provide specialized accommodation of children and adolescents with psychological disorders, and will serve as a space for scientific research and awareness-raising among parents, teachers and doctors.

    The unit, built on a surface area of 1,240 square metres, will also provide initial training for professionals (medicine students, nurse students, teacher students) and continuous training for professionals (psychiatrists, paediatricians, general practitioners, nurses and teachers).

    Afterwards, the Monarch visited the Child House, set up by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity within the Ibn Rochd university hospital, and enquired about socio-educational support for children hospitalized for a long time.

    HM the King had inaugurated the Child House on August 24, 2010.
