HM the King inaugurates in Casablanca drop-in support center for women victims of violence
HM King Mohammed VI  HM King Mohammed VI inaugurated, on Wednesday in Casablanca, a drop-in support center for women victims of violence and a library, worth 6 million dirhams (about $ 693,000), as part of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).

This project attests to the special attention the Sovereign pays to women issues mainly through giving priority to the promotion and protection of their rights on an equal footing with men.

HM the King toured the different departments of the center and the library. The two facilities were built on an area of 1,000 square meters.

The center includes a reception area, a multipurpose hall, workshops, an infirmary, a hosting space, a kitchen and other outbuildings.

It will provide legal assistance and guidance to women in distress, build their capacities and raise their awareness.

Concerning the library, it includes a reading room, a computer room, an office and other outbuildings.

On this occasion, the Monarch was provided with details on the results of the INDH programs in Ben M'Sik district over 2005-2010.
