HM the King inaugurates in Tangier rehabilitation center for motor disabled
HM King Mohammed VI inaugurated, on Wednesday in Tangier, a rehabilitation center for the motor disabled, worth 9.2 mln dirhams ($ 1.1 mln), carried out as part the large-scale anti-poverty programme National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).

Built on an area of 965 sqm, the facility includes, inter alia, physiotherapy, functional rehabilitation and consultation rooms.
The center will host annually a total of 800 motor disabled and 4,000 recipients of rehabilitation services.
It is supervised by a medical staff consisting of two doctors and 15 nurses specialized in medical rehabilitation and psychomotor.
The establishment of the new facility is meant to meet the shortfall in facilities for people with special needs in the Tangier-Tetouan region.
