HM King Mohammed VI inaugurated on Monday in Fez (Morocco's spiritual capital) a center for children with special needs, and a community center for an overall cost of 9,5 Millions dirhams ($ 1,2 Million).

The inauguration of these two centers, which coincides with the 12th National Solidarity Campaign (November 15-25), is meant to strengthen solidarity actions’ program, carried out by the Mohammed V Foundation in the Fez-Boulemane region.
The "Al-Amal" Center for Children with Special Needs is to provide vocational, education, rehabilitation and care services for 120 children with special needs from the region of Fez.
Built on an area of 1,300 m2, the center has rehabilitation and care rooms, classrooms, education and vocational training rooms. It also includes a canteen, a recreation room and an infirmary.
As to the community center, spanned over an area of 1.010 m², it aims to support local initiatives and create synergy between the local associations. It includes a multipurpose room, computer room, training workshops, a documentation center and other health and administrative services.
