  HM the King inquires about programme to upgrade 'Merzouga', 'Hassi Labied' urban centers
HM King Mohammed VI inquired, on Wednesday in the rural town of Taous (Errachidia province), about the programme to upgrade Merzouga and Hassi Labied centers, worth 20 million dirhams (2.6 million dollars).
 


       Benefiting 3,500 inhabitants, the programme aims to improve living conditions of the populationof the region, control the movement of urban expansion and preserve tourist sites with high natural potential.

      It provides for developing public spaces and the main road of the two centers, paving alleys and planting avenue trees.

      The programme, funded by the Ministry of Housing, consists of a set of measures to promote the development of both urban centers, particularly the organization and support of local urban expansion and the restructuring of the urban fabric.
