HM the King launches construction works of wastewater project in Casablanca

 HM King Mohammed VI launched on Monday the construction works of a wastewater project in the coastal zone of the urban commune of Dar Bouazza
 

.    On this occasion, the Sovereign was given detailed information on this project, which will cost 335 million dirhams (about $ 40 million).
    This project will endow the region of Casablanca with the adequate infrastructure for the storage and treatment of waste water and rainwater.
    Carried out as part of an ambitious environment protection program, the project is meant to protect underground water from pollution. It includes the building of 50 km-long networks of pipes for the processing of waste water and rainwater.
    On this occasion, the Sovereign was also informed about the major projects planned in the Great Casablanca region for the upgrading of its wastewater networks and the improvement of wastewater treatment.
