HM the King launches construction, upgrading works of provincial road in Chefchaouen
HM king Mohammed VI launched, on Saturday in Dar Akoubaâ (Province of Chefchaouen), the construction and upgrading works of the provincial road 4105, which will link Dar Akoubaâ to Oued Laou on 39 kilometres.

The EU-funded project, under the MEDA parogramme, is part of the second national programme of rural roads (PNRR II, 2005-2012).
The 185 million dirham ($22.7 million) project aims at improving road safety, facilitating access to the Mediterranean coast and easing congestion in the national road 2 (Al Hoceima-Tangier).
The sovereign also enquired about the progress of the PNRR II in the province of Chefchaouen.
The programme provides for building and upgrading 448 kilometres of roads, worth  983 million dirhams.
Under this programme, some 30 kilometres were built, while 176 others are under way.
