This project, which will be built on 3.7 ha, aims to provide the city of Sale with a luxury hospital in order to plug the deficit in health care and meet the growing demand for health services.
With a capacity of 250 beds, the Sale hospital will contribute to developing the local medical offer and improving the quality of care and the conditions of admitting patients, in accordance with Morocco’s 2008-2012 health strategy.
This project is expected to better meet the needs of the 940,000 population in terms of proximity of health services and medical assistance.
The new facility, which will replace the existing hospital of Moulay Abdellah, will include services of general medicine, surgery, paediatrics, emergency and intensive care, childbirth and gynaecology. It will also have a day hospital, a radiology department with a laboratory, a ward for otolaryngology surgery, an office building and other facilities.
The project, which will be ready within three years, will significantly improve health service delivery at the Rabat-Sale-Zemmour-Zaer region and alleviate pressure on other hospitals, mainly the Avicenne university hospital in Rabat.
