HM King Mohammed VI laid, on Wednesday in the northern city of Fnideq, the foundation stone for building a sea wall to protect a fish unloading site.

The Sovereign was given on this occasion details on this important project to cost about 47 million dirhams ($ 6 mln) and contribute to improving access to the unloading catches site, increasing the fishing days and income of local traditional fishermen.

The sea wall will also have positive impact on the fishing activities of the Fnideq region which endeavours to boost its fishing sector and speed the socio-economic development process spurred by HM King Mohammed VI.
