The two projects, worth 6 million dirhams, will be carried out by Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.
The centre will contribute to fighting poverty, improving women's life conditions and supporting women's associations in the region.
Benefiting some 200 women from Bouarfa and its region, the centre will be built on 700 square meters and will include many facilities, such as listening rooms and an exhibition space.
On this occasion, the Sovereign inquired about the projects related to the construction of a boarding school and a secondary school in Maatarka and a community school in Trarid (rural commune of Tendrara).
Tifariti and Maatarka boarding schools will host young female students and offer them support classes and organize sport and cultural activities for them.
Maatarka’s boarding school will be built on 460 square meters and include 80 beds.
Tifariti's boarding school will span over 2,200 square meters with a 80 bed capacity and will include shops and dormitories.
Maatarka's secondary school will benefit some 240 students and will include six class-rooms, two specialized classrooms and a library.
Trarid's community school, the first of its kind to be carried out by the Foundation, will help children from nomadic families receive primary education.
