  HM the king enquires about progress of INDH programmes in Casablanca region
 HM King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, enquired on Thursday in Casablanca, about the progress of the progammes carried out as part of the National Initiative for Human Initiative (INDH) in the region of the Grand Casablanca over 2005-2009.
 

    The monarch was provided with details on these 1.527 billion dirham (1$ = 8.26 dirhams) projects which total 2,343, including 1,377 projects already completed.
    These projects, implemented in partnership with 1,165 associations, concern various areas including education, youth and sports, vocational training, accommodation centres, healthcare, illiteracy and culture.
    They also touch on handicraft, trade and industry, drinking supply and farming.
    On this occasion, the sovereign inaugurated the Ibn Nafiss medical and social centre, built as part of the INDH for 4.88 million dirhams.
   The 800 square-meter facility provides services in the area of family planning, maternal and child health, the fight against tuberculosis, school health and control and follow-up to chronic diseases.
