HM the king lays foundation stone to build mosque in M'diq
HM King Mohammed VI laid on Friday the foundation stone to build a mosque in the northern city of M'diq, for a budget of 4.9 million dirhams ($595,000).

The king was provided with details on this project which will be carried out over 12 months.

The mosque, which spans over 714 square metres, will have an accommodation capacity of 630 worshippers.

The construction of this mosque is part of a programme to reinforce mosques in the prefecture of M'diq-Fnideq, to which the Ministry of Islamic Affairs allotted 30 million dirhams.

The three-year programme provides for building seven mosques, revamping and upgrading 23 others.
