HRH Princess Lalla Meryem receives Chairwoman of Bulgarian parliament

HRH Princess Lalla Meryem and Chairwoman of Bulgaria's National Assembly (parliament) Tsetska Tsacheva  HRH Princess Lalla Meryem, President of Social Services of the Royal Armed Forces, received, on Sunday in Rabat, Chairwoman of Bulgaria's National Assembly (parliament) Tsetska Tsacheva, who is on a working visit to Morocco.
 

    In a statement to the press after the meeting, Tsacheva expressed satisfaction at the fact of being received in the beginning of her visit by HRH Lalla Meryem, which reflects the feelings of respect vis-à-vis the Bulgarian parliament and people.
    She said that the meeting was an opportunity to discuss the role of Moroccan women in modern society, expressing her admiration for the impressive presence of Moroccan women in the political life and for activities performed by Her Royal Highness.
    “During my short stay in Morocco, I saw the feelings of love that the Moroccan people have to the Royal Family and the great support enjoyed by the reforms initiated by HM King Mohammed VI in different areas,” she added.
    The Chairwoman of the Bulgarian Parliament also hailed the efforts of HRH Lalla Meryem at the head of the child parliament.
    Morocco and Bulgaria will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic ties, said Tsacheva, noting that several events will be held on this occasion.
    For his part, Morocco’s parliament president Abdelwahed Radi said that the visit of Tsacheva in Morocco aims to strengthen parliamentary relations as well as economic and political cooperation between the two countries.
    He added that the Bulgarian official will hold on Monday a series of meetings with MPs and government members, and sign several agreements.
