HRH the Princess followed the "Majnoun and Layla" concert inaugurating the festival, in which 40 artists from the East and the West, led by the world-famous composer Armand Amar, participated.

    This year's edition draws performers from Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Brazil, North India, Senegal, Morocco, Spain, France, Italy and the United States.

    The festival, which was founded in 1994, will run until June 11.
