HM King Mohammed VI inaugurated on Thursday an indoor sports hall in the town of Beni Bouayach (province of Al Hoceima), carried out as part of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), worth 11 million dirhams ($ 1.2 mln).
Built on an area of 7,000 sq meters, this facility includes, among others, a playground, bleachers, a locker rooms, a parking area and green spaces.
Benefiting local sports clubs, the hall is designed for training and organization of regular sports events for youth and children.
On this occasion, the Monarch followed explanations on the requalification program of sports facilities in the province of Al Hoceima.
The program is meant to provide the urban communes of Al-Hoceima, Ajdir and Beni Bouayach with sports equipments.
HM the King also enquired about the project to build a social and sports complex in the rural commune of Issaguen.
Worth 6.7 million dirhams, the project aims to strengthen the sports infrastructure in the region.
The Sovereign also handed sports equipment to local associations.

HM the King Inaugurates Multipurpose Center in Ait Kamra
Ait Kamra - HM King Mohammed VI inaugurated, on Thursday in the rural commune of Ait Kamra (Province of Al Hoceima), a multipurpose center at a total cost of 3 million dirhams (about $ 336k).
On this occasion, the Sovereign visited the various facilities of the centre, built on 350 square meters. It includes a multi-purpose room, a workshop, and a listening room.
Meant to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants and fight social exclusion, the project is part of the proximity policy aiming to meet the needs of the inhabitants in terms of listening, orientation, solidarity and revenue-generating activities.
The project will also serve as a meeting point for citizens and associations and will offer various social activities.

HM the King Inaugurates Training, Rural Development Centre in Al Hoceima
Douar Tafensa - HM King Mohammed VI inaugurated, on Friday in the rural neighbourhood of Tafensa (province of Al Hoceima), a centre for training and rural development, built by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity for $134,600.
The centre aims at providing the youth in particular with areas and equipment to have access to supervision and training and, therefore, promote their competences.
Built on 400 square metres, the centre includes an administration office, two multidisciplinary training workshops and a multipurpose room.
The centre is the eleventh of such projects for the youth, implemented by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity in the province of Al Hoceima, worth 21 million dirhams, aimed at ensuring better social and professional integration of the youth.
