The U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reiterated, on Monday in Marrakech, the commitment of the Obama administration to a two-solution solution to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Mrs Clinton made the statement shortly before a meeting with Moroccan Foreign Minister, Taib Fassi Fihri, on the sidelines of the sixth session of the Forum for the Future, which is taking place in Marrakech on November 2-3.
The forum opened on Monday at the level of experts, under the co-chairmanship of Morocco as the hosting country and Italy, in its capacity as the acting president of the G8.
The two-day event is due to tackle issues pertaining principally to the financial crisis and the economies of the Broader Middle East and North Africa (BMENA).
It will also address issues of local governance, human development, freedom and democracy, the role of civil society, women's and children's rights and entrepreneurship in BMENA region.
