  Marrakech -

Hillary Clinton says there is no change in US policy over Morocco's autonomy initiative for Sahara
The U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said, here on Monday, that there is no change in the United States' position over Morocco's autonomy initiative for the Sahara.

"Yes, our policy has not changed," Clinton said answering a journalist's question on the position of the Obama administration over the Morocco's autonomy initiative for the Sahara, which the United States has, on several occasions, described as "serious" and "credible."

"I thank you because it is important for me to reaffirm, here in Morocco, that there has been no change in our policy," she said at a joint press conference with Morocco's Foreign Minister Taib Fassi Fihri, on the sidelines of the sixth session of the Forum for the Future, held in Marrakech on November 2-3.

Clinton had arrived, Sunday, in Marrakech to participate in the sixth ministerial meeting of the Forum for the Future.
