"The King has undertaken to reform religious life more broadly, promoting an open and tolerant form of Islam and fighting intellectual and cultural extremism," it said.

    In this respect, it noted that "this endeavor has included the deployment of female religious (advisers) to many mosques and the reengineering of Islamic education in the kingdom."

     It also recalled the Family Code aimed at improving the situation of the family in general and women in particular.
