  Interior Ministry announces results of Upper House's by-elections
House of Advisors (upper house) The legislative by-elections to fill six vacant seats in the House of Advisors (upper house) were held on Tuesday, the Interior Ministry said on Wednesday.
 

   These elections involved five vacancies for representatives of local authorities in the Tangier-Tetouan region and a seat for the representative of the Chamber of Agriculture in the eastern region.

    The winners of the Tangier-Tetouan local authorities are Samir Abdelmoula of Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), Mohamed El Bakkouri of the National Rally of Independents party (RNI), Mohamed Akbib of the Constitutional Union party (UC), Mohamed Alami of the Socialist Union of Popular Forces party (USFP) and Ahmed Daibouni of the Progress and Socialism party (PPS), While El Mustapha Al Khalfioui of PAM won the seat of the Chamber of Agriculture.
