  S. Korea's President hails Moroccan-Korean relations as promising

Moroccan-Korean relations are very promising, as the two countries are set to further boost effectively their cooperation in several fields, President of the Republic of South Korea, Lee Myung-bak said.

"In accordance with the cooperation agreements between the two countries in economic and trade fields, I believe that the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of South Korea can strengthen these links in a tangible way, through the exchange of future policy directions and initiatives," Lee Myung-bak told MAP in an exclusive interview at the Presidential Palace Cheongwadae (Blue House).

Morocco has adopted a policy of economic openness and skills development, he underlined, adding that "South Korea is willing to share its experiences with Morocco in the field of economic development."
The South Korean President also said that fields of bilateral cooperation and trade are vast and include information technology and communication and environment-friendly economic activities.

Since establishing their diplomatic relations in 1962, Morocco and South Korea have maintained sound cooperation relations, particularly in political and economic fields.
