The two officials discussed "regional issues notably Guinea, the Sahara and security situation in the Sahel region," a spokesman of the French Foreign Ministry said.

      The meeting is part of "the very regular" bilateral exchanges between the two ministers and "shows the excellence that characterizes French-Moroccan relations," added the spokesman.
