During his visit, Amrani held talks with El Salvador's Foreign minister Hugo Martinez during which they examined bilateral cooperation relations.
They emphasized the importance of giving a new impetus to the economic, commercial, and cultural relations and taking advantage of the good political relations between both countries.
They also stressed the need for deepening cooperation and dialogue within the different international bodies especially the United Nations.
Both parties underlined that they share the same viewpoints on regional and international issues of common interest, stressing the role of regional integration in a world of globalization to secure peace, security, and prosperity for the Maghreb and Central America.
Concerning the regional conflict over the Moroccan Sahara, Martinez expressed his wish to see all parties take advantage of the extension of the Minurso's mandate for a year in order to move towards a negotiate political solution based on the latest resolution by the Security Council.
