Morocco-Spain ties 'excellent, in steady development,' Spanish ambassador says
Moroccan-Spanish relations are "excellent and in a steady development," Spain's ambassador to Morocco said on Monday.

Luis Planas Puchades told the Spanish radio station "Punto Radio", from Rabat, that the mutual understanding between Rabat and Madrid is the best means to further consolidate these relations.
He added that the two countries, which are close and bound by strong historical and cultural relations, endeavour constantly to move forward in promoting bilateral ties in various fields.
The geographical closeness between the two countries is an important factor in enhancing bilateral understanding and relations, he said, noting in this respect the growing number of Spanish firms based in Morocco.
The diplomat underlined that the notable rise in air links, whose number has quadrupled over the last three years, reflects the interest attached by Spain to Morocco.
He emphasised the progress made by Morocco in different areas, particularly in the field of infrastructure and in the national economy’s productive sectors.
