"Our action should be efficient and harmonized to press Israel into relinquishing its logic of force and fait accompli," Foreign minister Taib Fassi Fihri said before the Arab League Council's ministerial meeting.
The minister warned against the critical situation in Al-Quds, where Israeli occupation authorities are repeatedly breaching the international law and the UN resolutions which deem the city an occupied territory since June 1967.
He condemned the continuation of colonization activities, forced migration, the demotion of houses, and the recurrent rights abuses targeting Palestinians.
The stubbornness of Israel in pursuing its colonization policy is part of a hostile and systematic plan that was rebuked by HM King Mohammed VI, he said. "The Sovereign is continuously drawing the attention of the international community" on the situation in Al-Quds, he added.
He also underlined the need to exert pressure on Israel to put an end to its colonization policy and its suspect excavations, and to respect the holy aspect of Al-Aqsa mosque.
Morocco, he said, reiterates anew that the reaction to the Israeli perilous plan should not be limited to condemnations, but should take the form of political and practical actions.
