Given the increasingly complex and evolving economic, environmental and security challenges in Africa, this symposium, entitled "Security in Africa: Challenges and prospects," aims at promoting the dialogue between the participated States.
   
   Organized by the African Federation for Strategic Studies (FAES), the three-day meeting is an opportunity for the participants to discuss issues related to the multiple strategic and security challenges facing African countries.
   The symposium will focus on several themes including "Security threats and vulnerabilities in Africa”, “International terrorism and its impact on Africa”, “Prevention and Conflict Management in Africa "and “The governance of the security sector in Africa”.
