  Morocco stands by Jordan at all levels: FM
Moroccan Foreign Minister Taib Fassi Fihri expressed, On Wednesday in Amman, Morocco's full solidarity with Jordan at all levels, stressing the special importance HM King Mohammed VI attaches to strengthening bilateral relations.
 

     Fassi Fihri and his Jordanian peer Nasser Jouda explored means to promote bilateral cooperation, and discussed regional and international issues of common interest, along with ways of coordinating the two countries’ positions.

    "We are following the steps taken by the King of Jordan in the area of development, reforms and political openness," the Moroccan minister said during a joint press conference with Jouda after the meeting.

    Morocco and Jordan do not only have common civilisational and historical denominators, but they also have a common vision with regard to their regional and international commitments, and share viewpoints on a host of issues, he said.

    Fassi Fihri highlighted the need for further coordination between the two countries towards reinforcing their capacities.

    The two kingdoms are heading footsure towards stronger democracy, reconciling human development with political and economic reform, Fassi Fihri said.

    Jouda, for his part, highlighted the special relations between the two kings, which has a positive impact on ties between the two peoples in all fields.

    The two countries share views and positions on a number of questions, and are linked by an excellent bilateral cooperation in many areas, he said.

    Fassi Fihri, who is in Jordan on a one-day visit, had conveyed a message from HM King Mohammed VI to HM King Abdullah II.
