Morocco urges swift solution to Libyan crisis: FM says
Morocco supports a quick solution to the Libyan crisis for the interest of the country's people and the region's security, said Friday in Istanbul Morocco's Foreign Minister Taib Fassi Fihri.

"Morocco believes that it is important now to find a swift solution not only for the interest of the brotherly Libyan people, but also for the security of the whole region," Fassi Fihri told Morocco's MAP news agency, on the sidelines of the fourth International contact group on Libya.

“Stability in Libya influences the Sahel-Sahara region’s,” he said, who met many of his peers taking part at the meeting.

From the very start, Morocco has contributed to alleviating Libyan people’s suffering before taking part in the efforts aim at finding a political solution to the five-month crisis.

“The only possibility is that of political solution, and certainly not the military one,” he added.
