  NRJ Music Awards: Moroccan Sofia Essaidi elected Francophone Female Artist of the Year
Moroccan singer Sofia Essaidi won, on Saturday in Cannes (France), the NRJ Music Award for the francophone female artist of the year.
 

   Essaidi won the award thanks to her brilliant performance in the musical show “Cleopatra”.
   She became famous in 2003 following the French show Star Academy, where she reached the semi-finals.
