In a statement to the press, Cambon said the delegation was "honored to have had the privilege of meeting with the Premier."
"We had the opportunity to survey all the current issues following the high-level meeting which brought together the French and Moroccan Prime ministers in July," Cambon said.
The delegation, he went on to say, expressed its admiration and support for the large-scale projects carried out by the government in all areas, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, along with initiatives relating notably to economic development and the fight against poverty.
"We came to give our support for the Moroccan autonomy initiative" for the Sahara, he said, noting that this proposal includes "tangible measures which will make things progress and provide a solution for the population suffering in the camps of Tindouf."
The autonomy initiative, which guarantees the respect of human rights, underlines the will to see a strong State (Morocco) take care of a region threatened by the dangers of terrorism and instability, he noted.
