The week of Senegal in Morocco, which runs from June 24 to 28, has a positive impact on the development of trade, investment and tourism, as well as on the bilateral cultural cooperation, Ndiaye told Moroccan channel "2M".
The Minister hailed the agreement between Morocco and Senegal since the 60s, which offers many advantages to Senegalese citizens, particularly regarding the conditions of stay and exemption from certain taxes.
He also stressed the importance of the Tangier-Nouakchott-Dakar shipping route, adding that the status of Morocco as a country associated to the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) is an advantage for Africa.
This status is a factor that will speed up and boost South-South cooperation, Ndiaye said.
