  Princess Lalla Hasnaa chairs in Rabat inauguration ceremony of ecological space

Princess Lalla Hasnaa, Chairwoman of Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, presided on Saturday over the official inauguration ceremony of the ecological space in the esplanade of the Oudayas in Rabat, on the occasion of the Earth Day celebrations.

 

    The Princess toured several stands at the esplanade including the stands  of "Energy and Water", "Biodiversity and Ecosystem", "Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment", "Art and Environment," and "Education, Awareness raising and Training."

    Princess Lalla Hasnaa also visited exhibition spaces in the path beside Bouregreg River, which hosts notably a solar panel, a windmill and  a truck of Morocco's National Meteorological office used to measure air quality.

    Then she awarded sustainable mobility passports to four children from different Moroccan regions.

    Princess Lalla Hasna also visited exhibitions of the animals and nature protection association and the national school of architecture.

    By the same occasion, the Princess awarded the Earth Day prizes to several NGOs and enterprises.
