Princess Lalla Lamia chairs in Casablanca Opening of Arab Blind Union's Executive Board  Princess Lalla Lamia, Chairwoman of the Alaouite Organisation for the promotion of the Blind in Morocco (OAPAM), chaired on Tuesday in Casablanca the opening ceremony of the Executive Boardthe of the Arab Union for the Blind.
 

     On this occasion, efforts led by OAPAM since its creation in 1967 were highlighted notably those aiming at reinforcing the capacities of this social category through providing training and job opportunities.

    In this respect, light was shed on the results achieved in different Moroccan regions by the 15 educational centers and 9 vocational training centers benefiting the blind.

    The Opening ceremony, attended by members of the cabinet and the diplomatic corps, was marked by speeches delivered by the Presidents of the Arab, Asian and African Unions for the Blind.

    Several Arab delegations take part in the event that runs until January 15.
